Chloe Bordewich is a PhD student in History and Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University. She has a BA in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University and was a fellow at the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) in Cairo, Egypt, from 2012-13. Before coming to Harvard, she worked on election observation and international human rights law for the Carter Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She likes cats, ephemera, and old Arab movie posters.
